David Fuller, Marine Consultancy Ltd’s principal surveyor, has a BSc Honours Degree in Nautical Studies (Naval Architecture and Marine Commerce) from Plymouth Polytechnic. He is registered as an Incorporated Engineer with the Engineering Council, and has over 25 years’ experience in the marine industry as an engineer, boat builder, boatyard manager and consultant surveyor. His highly regarded expert knowledge with boat investigations looking into the cause of incidents is also utilised by the Boat Safety Scheme read more.
In addition to the Lead Quality Assurance role at Boat Safety Scheme, David provides his advisory services to various committees for xyz. And contributes to the Recreational Craft Directive????.
David is a member of many of the inland boating trade bodies and associations with good connections within them. Between 2003 and 2006 David was Chairman of the Institute of Marine Engineering Science & Technology (IMarEST) ‘Small Ships Group’ (SSG) and is continues to be an active Approved Surveyor and Consultant to this day.
